Broadmead Baptist Church has been blessing the city of Bristol for hundreds of years.
Our vision is to love Christ, as a community, for the city.
We gather as a church on Sundays at 11am.
On Sunday
We meet at 11am at Broadmead Baptist Church on Union Street, BS1 3HY.
We start with some live music and a passage from the Bible will be read out. A preacher will give a talk to explain the passage, and we’ll sing some more songs. We’ll usually wrap up with coffee and cake, but the doors are open throughout the service, so feel free to pop in and say hello! We also have Sunday School and Crèche in operation with qualified teachers.
In the Week
Homegroups are an essential part of our church life and we meet frequently in homes around the city for food, Bible study, prayer and friendship. We also run Men’s, Women’s and Youth Ministries.
Reading the Bible in 2 Years
As a church we are reading through the Bible in 2 years! Each day we’ll be aiming to read one chapter of the Old Testament and one of the New. Sundays will work in line with the daily readings,
with Home Groups being a chance to discuss what we’ve been reading together. There's no pressure, get stuck in and have a go - encounter Christ and be changed by his word.
This week’s readings:
Mon 7 | Ezekiel 41; Psalms 92-93
Tue 8 | Ezekiel 42; Psalms 94
Wed 9 | Ezekiel 43; Psalms 95-96
Thu 10 | Ezekiel 44; Psalms 97-98
Fri 11 | Ezekiel 45; Psalms 99-101
Sat 12 | Ezekiel 46; Psalms 102
Sun 13 | Ezekiel 47; Psalms 103
